   This phone is incredible for business and pleasure. The web browsing is outstanding… Camera incredible for a phone. The keyboard is great and Synergy is simply off the hook.

   i got a questiom: is the ui or the phone itself laggy/slow?
   cause it takes sometimes several seconds to start an app.

   I work for Sprint advance tech support. Ths is a good phone it really does not have sw issues. And if it did it has a program built within that wil fix it self. So we never really get calls on it.

    A smart company will incorporate all the popular different features of various phones out there into one device. its more like to appeal to a broader market and just be an all around better product. example: the palm pre has similar touch screen features like the iphone, similar multi task features like the blackberry, and similar tactile slide out keyboard like the google phone, as well as apps, which all three of those phones have. now that’s smart. as for the phone looking “gay”, grow up.

    not to mention ATT is way more expensive than sprint. i did a price comparison between all the major carriers and ATT was the most expensive, with T-Mobile and Sprint as the two least expensive. Verizon was kind of average. I’ve messed around with the iphone on several ocassions and just coulnd’t get into it. even my blackberry pearl 8100 can multi-task, which even the newest iPhone cannot do to this date. also the iphone is too big, and the on screen qwerty was aweful to use.

    alright first of all chill out. now .. yeah i hate it too when everyone gets touch screen phones cause its touch screen when the phone sucks or is impossible to use because of all of the lag.

    The way you zoom copied the iphone’s. I’d much rather have an HTC Mogul than this ugly phone. Curves all around? that’s a pretty crappy design. The first thing i said when i saw the Pre was “That looks so gay”. I’m also getting sick of the whole full touch screen trend. I cringe every time i see a younger person with a smartphone like this or a windows smartphone because it’s new and it has a touch screen and full keyboard. They have absolutely no use for it other than texting.

    dude face it iphone sucks it always has dropped calls you cant record video or send pictures also its carrier sucks i had it for a month and i had at least 130 dropped calls wen it goes to a different carrier in 2011 it could be better though

    sorry buddy nothing compares to an iphone…iphones the original touchscreen smartphone…the palms “app catalog” is nothing compared to itunes app store…i have tons of cool free apps on my iphone…plus the new iphone has 32gb of memory and is only 299$ beat tht palm…shot for 199 u can get a 16gb i phone 3gs with all the new software and high speed and tethering capabilities…this is just a big hype…nothing can beat an iphone…its impossible

    actually u can upload your ical calendar to the pre by using one of the free softwares of palm called DTA (data transfer assistant)
    even if your mac palm has a solution for you…
