can the hero web browse in a car when the car is moving like on a highway or something
sprint has all of the sickest phones
pre eats hero for breakfast
I am curious, with the new update I heard about is the Hero faster?
This is the type of reviews I like to watch
So I went to an Sprint Store yesterday and I compared my HTC Hero to Palm Pre and Samsung Moment. I really liked Samsung moments display and speed, Im not into physical keyboards and neither do I buy samsung products,, Palm pre wasn’t what I was expecting it to be, confusing interface, lack of flash, very small keyboard, no microSD slot.
I love my Hero.
Haha nice. I hae the keyboard on the pre. Then again, it took a lil while to get used to the heros…
actual keyboard perhaps? or is there an app for that?
you are right. Developers haven’t touch the full potential of the palm pre.
I sure hope the next update will fix the battery life and performance.
hey do you know what any of the performance boosts will be?
I love the web browsing on my Hero. If you want a more relevant comparison, turn off the flash support on the Hero. I have an ipod touch, and I find myself always using the Hero.
A cool feature on the Hero is the ability to tap on the part of the screen you want to read, which then renders larger and centered text.
The pre is a bit sluggish, but alot of it is literally because the full potential of the phone hasn’t been tapped into. It has a full fledged video processor that has literally been lying dormant. Palm has hired on project leads from ATI, and the pre is expecting a huge performance enhancement in their next software update, as well as a better battery life. I do have to love the multitasking “cards” and synergy of the pre as well.
I agree, I would choose the Hero
I agree!. I love my hero to bits and there is nothing the palm pre can do that the hero doesnt lol
the pre does not load flash so yes it is faster. Turn flash off on the Hero and the Hero is faster. There are many other review out that show apples to apples comparisons of the two. The Hero is a much better choice. IMO
The hero is multi touch.
droid eris is almost the same thing as hero except on Verizon it is multi touch and android 1.5
