i would get the hero their getting updates and it will have a lot more features.
tell them you’re going to leave if they don’t. they tend to respond to those threats nicely.
i was thinking about getting the Pre because i love Palm & Sprint & also because it was the only type of iPhone-esque smartphone on Sprint. even though i liked what i read & saw about it, i just wasn’t really excited. then i found out about the Hero & i can’t wait to get it! i’m so excited about it. i’ll probably like Pre’s successors (hopefully it has some).. but for now i’m goin’ with Hero.
they need better friken musicc but yea imma get the hero as soon as i can =]]
im getting a palm pre next week i cant wait
I was recently told a pretty funny joke by a friend and I laughed my ass off, goes something like “find me a pile of shit and I’ll show you a lawyer hiding behind it.”
lol wow shyster – i’m flattered that you give enough of a shit to do that much research. all lawyers are shysters, just like all blacks rob and kill, just like all mexicans are illegals, just like all asians rape at math.
You sir, are a true shyster – 30 years of age and still shysting away online and failing pathetically.
Your shyster comment makes almost as much sense as saying the palm pre is a “smartphone” LOL. peace out shyster, next.
your profile shyster – Juris Doctor Candidate ‘10
only faggot that’s a shyster here is YOU bro – fanboying the pre when it’s clear fact that pre owners are bailing by the boat-load each day.
only a shyster prick talks out of his ass instead of brings industry standards to the table. only a shyster posts dumb comments that get removed by the author.
and only shysters use “shyster” in a completely idiotic and inappropriate context. who am i shysting? how did i “shyst”. shut your shyster mouth and keep holding on to the pre.
would you be able to play online flash games on a phone with a physical keyboard?
lol spoken like a true shyster
and if your pre has no lag when you swipe on ANY menu – LOL – please go to the AT&T store and pick up an iphone 3gs and then come back and type an EDUCATED and INFORMED comment.
and if you can’t tell the difference between the fluidity in the machines – and the LACK of fluidity and smoothness in the palm pre – then you should have saved yourself some SERIOUS money and gotten a windows mobile phone. they are way cheaper.
lol – your rebuttal is completely misguided and irrelevant.
first of all – it’s pure speculation you bring to the table. MY argument & FACT remains – the preapp store has 59 apps, period. THOUSANDS of users forced to chose from DOZENS of apps – not THOUSANDS of users chosing from THOUSANDS of apps.
secondly your statement of “2 dozen” apps is drawn from where? friends? most people i know run at lest 5-10 games and 20-30 apps on android. there are apps for things like camera, SMS and dialer..
DID U HEAR THAT HTC HERO !!!!!!!!! PRE is kool though
Very disapointed with the Hero’s problem with multitouching. I just went to sprint to check out a Hero and it was choppy. So smoothness of functions goes to Pre. Potential goes to Hero. If you believe in delayed gratification go with Hero.
the hero is an android phone like the g1
I love my pre. The hero looks awesome too though. Both are way better than any iPhone,
alright thanks
man noah fuck that game! that shit piss me off!
its not windows mobile,its android
Customizable widgets are coming to the Pre!?? When? If so I am definitely picking up the Pre because that’s the #1 thing that has me leaning towards HTC Hero.
How are the widgets going to work?
I always thought there should be some sort of “Home” screen with customizable widgets like Hero. The screen could even act as a card.
Man.. people are so damn winey. stop the damn complaining
the HTC hero is an android phone with HTC’s sense user interface.
Is the HTC Hero a Windows Mobile phone?
Because I see no WinMo on it. This pleases me because I love HTC phones but theyre too slow because of WinMo and my last 2 HTC WinMo phones crashed; the first one after 5 days and the 2nd after 3 weeks. But not the Hero. I want the Hero soooo badly
hmm, my pre has no lag, don’t care about 10k apps or iphone’s 75k apps, especially when most people only really use about 2 dozen
I also have owned a PRE – and to sit here and pretend like there isn’t MASSIVE jerky lag on almost EVERY APP – not to mention even jerky lag when it comes to swiping the APP DRAWER. Hero is by far, LIGHT YEARS ahead of the Pre in fluidity, and i prefer 10,000 apps to the few dozen I have from Palm.
I don’t want to root my phone just to change my SMS tones, or have widgets. I don’t want to have to install homebrew just to install apps. Pre has a LONG WAY TO GO. Goodbye PRE – Hello HERO!
