HTC has so much more better looks then the pre (which looks sleek too)
PALM WINS
we get it
I find it very hard to text with the palm pre because the buttons are so fucking small!
I certainly don’t care about the data/voice thing. My phone is CDMA.
i think that that could be ignored… just talk a little louder lol
I got a Pre and am taking it back…I’ll be trying the Hero next. The reason is that the mic placement on the Pre is terrible! It is on the left side face of the phone. If you like to talk with the phone between your shoulder and face, forget it. No one will be able to hear you. Sometimes they can’t even hear you when you hold the phone regular. I don’t like using headsets and so I can’t deal with it…which is sad because I want to like the Pre so much!
Is the Pre durable? Idk it kind of looks like it will break fairly easily compared to the Hero, and that’s a huge issue for me, because I tend to destroy phones that are around the size of the pre haha
For my, Pre is the winner! Faster message writing, better interface, multi-taskig… Well done Palm =)
just keypad, but you can install it in touchscreen by hombebrew
palm pre wins hands down….Looks better, better for text messaging, faster and dosent lag. web browsing is smooth and not glitchy like the HTC. HTC looks like its more customizable but im more concerned about how smooth the phone works. PALM PRE WINS FOR ME!
HTC WINS
jailbreak the iphone and multitasking is no problem
when will the palm pre be available in asia?
im getting my pre in a couple days…cant wait. the pre will overcome, once they work out the fine kinks in WebOS. all of the new cell platforms has had slow starts. WebOS, android, and yes….even the iphone did. cmon they just updated it to where you can send MMS not to long ago lol.
and there is a virtual keyboard that you can download for the pre…so until palm puts an official virtual keyboard on the pre (which im sure theyll do in the future) youll have to use that one.
ummm a lot of phones can do that…my old ass flip phone can do that. actually my old ass flip phone can multitask better than the iphone. lol.
No, just on-screen keyboards
is there keyboard in touchscreen or only keypad in pre
as u wish but hero is the best
nope, entirely touch. no slide
no. its all touch. you can have the choice of landscape or portrait
i HATE that black dead space around android phones…like..i know htc know that thats the main reason iphone and pre look so much better…soooo…why not change it! and make that the whole screen!….i dont understand people who create phones….why not improve??? is it really that much of a fuckin hasel!!! gawd! that fone is so ugly! but i like it!….jus need to be prettier!!!! block lookin ass fone
Does the HTC hero slide to any type of keyboard? Please answer (:
I think both phones are really great. It is only a question of personal demands.
I am waiting for the PRE. It suits me more than the Hero because I have a hardware keyboard.
But BOTH are absolutely competitive to the iPhone especially on price/costs. The Hero is available for about 450 Euros in Germany. The PRE will be available for 480 Euos. That is much more cheaper than the iPhone 3Gs.
I hope that both phones will be successfull.
htc hero is the best and no phone is even close to it.
