haha, his number 1 reason why the Pre is better is “multitouch” which he then demonstrates using only one finger. Erm, that would be just one touch then. Not to mention the fact that they iPhone has identical multitouch gestures anyway.

wow whats up with this guys voice? im going to touch on some things. 1st. who cares about the “QWERTY” keypad. the iphone is much more smoother. that just takes up more room. 2nd. the NEW and better 3gs has a much better camera who CAN and WILL autofocus and camcorder to which you can upload video strait to YOUTUBE. there is no way you can compare amazon to itunes maybe pandora or zune but amazon? come on. all im saying is that it may beat the original iphone but not the 3gs. sorry

Open your minds. The iPhone is an excellent phone but the Palm Pre is, without doubt, on the same level. The UI is certainly superior to the iPhone’s.

I’ve had the 2G, 3G and now have the 3GS. Call quality on the “s” is poor and quite frankly i’ve fallen out of love with it. I’m helping the little guy out as Apple have enough! Palm count me in with the Pre.
It doesnt Need 70,000 apps which lets be honest are usually cool for the 1st week and after that is simply novelty, i like the useful apps we hav like tethering

I’m still not convinced. I like my iPhone better than this phone. And btw, I think this phone is a direct (worse imo) ripoff of the iPhone. Therefore, iPhone is the original and best!!
Im all for the competition! I pay rediculous money for my 3GS here in the UK so bring on the Pre. Apple need to get their finger out their backsides and bring out some better shit asap.

yeah, more than half being garbage, the other half of the half being useless – yeah, some are definitely cool and the apps do provide a whole new level to the experience of the new age of phones – but the way it’s all handled on the Pre just makes more sense.

That depends on for what u need a smartphone. The iphone exceeds all other smartphones in the sheer number of available applications. So it’s nice if u want to play with your phone for example. The Palm Pre is good for organizing and such things not at last because of its multitasking capability. Another advantage in my opinion is the OS. You can easily create your own application which means a high potential in getting a lot of applications like the iphone
