Syncing means transferring the songs from your library in iTunes to your device. If you don’t have iTunes, you can download it for free and install it, or it is possible to just drag and drop music to your Pre like you would a flash drive.

yeah, developers are racing though to see who can make the first build of its own syncing software. what needs to be done is one that will just read out of the itunes library, i’m a hardcore apple fan, but there is nothing apple could do about that.

Yes. Look up missing link software for pre. It’s through Mark/Space. It will sync ical and address book wirelessly through wi-fi. It can also sync itunes, iphoto, and safari tabs with a USB cable. The beta is free for a ‘limited time,’ and you can buy the full version fr $40.
